Medical Office Furniture Solutions for Baptist Health
KLS Martin Engineering and Manufacturing is a fast-growing medical device organization that found themselves running out of space in their current facility. The decision was made to undergo a full construction project to expand and transform their current facility. Perdue Office, the premier Steelcase dealer in Northeast Florida, consulted step-by-step to ensure the desired workplace design implementation at the end of the expansion exceeded all expectations. To start, Perdue provided initial budgets and conducted workshops with employee groups to understand exactly what was needed from a design plan to support all work needs. Next, Perdue installed two floors of furniture in conjunction with the construction timeline. The final product was a state-of-the-art work environment not only reflects the KLS Martin brand, but also provides its employees with an ecosystem of work settings that meet the variety of needs for this dynamic organization.
Perdue went the extra mile to understand the active work dynamics and constraints felt by KLS Martin employees. An office design plan must be aesthetically pleasing as well as functional and Perdue went through an extensive review to deliver on both of those components. A “living” mock space was created over a duration of time for employees to assess and provide real-time feedback to Perdue – all leading to a final floor plan that both satisfied employees needs, but also included them in the process.
The expansion included a three-story additional to the existing single story. With the assistance of Perdue’s input, the division maintained full manufacturing and engineering capacity for the duration of the construction project. To achieve minimal disruption to the client’s operations, Perdue provided a proactive solution-driven approach built on close communication and logistical flexibility.
