Perdue Office and Baptist Health: A Multi-Decade Partnership
It is rare to have a business relationship that runs as deep as Perdue Office and Baptist Health, a preeminent health system located in Northeast Florida. For more than 20 years, when Baptist has had office design and furniture needs, they have turned to Perdue Office for expertise, solution-oriented problem solving and above all else, peace of mind. Across more than 25 locations, Perdue has provided solutions for cafes, workstations, conference rooms and lobbies among many other work settings. In fact, Perdue has supplied furniture such as work stations and sleeper sofas for over 800 exam rooms over the tenure of this relationship.
As a leading dealer of healthcare furniture and a premier Steelcase partner, Perdue tailored furniture design and architectural solution plans highlighting products to address the specific needs of the patients and their care teams across the Baptist system. As seen in the Project Spotlight below, Perdue is capable of developing and implementing standardized turnkey solutions that are scalable both on execution and pricing.
PROJECT SPOTLIGHT
The Borowy Family Children’s Critical Care Tower, a 225,000 square-foot facility, was the first project that Baptist partnered with Perdue to install modular casework, such as architectural premanufactured cabinets, in 124 settings including but not limited to patient rooms, medication rooms, work rooms and staff lounges. Since then, Perdue has continued to install modular casework, solid surface, cantilevered specialty surface, and furniture throughout Baptist Health’s medical office buildings, exam rooms and hospital rooms.
The Perdue team operated as a subcontractor, working hand-in-hand alongside the architect and general contractor to ensure all construction timelines were hit and costs were kept low. This standardized approach can be implemented in any future engagement with Baptist at scale allowing for a high degree of trust between Baptist and Perdue.
