Office Furniture Design for Energy Management Firm
The Energy Authority (TEA), an energy trading and asset management firm supporting public power utilities, was renovating its Bellevue, WA office and relocating its Jacksonville, FL headquarters. The leadership team at TEA envisioned technology-enabled offices with innovative solutions to connect its bi-coastal locations while providing a variety of individual and collaborative workspaces.
Following strategic project planning and design from Connie Turner Interiors Inc., Perdue was tasked with procuring a selection of office furniture and accessories complementary to the organization’s goals. The concept featured a creative space with amenity centers, quiet rooms, and multipurpose nooks for breaks and collaboration. As North Florida’s leading workplace furniture dealer and Steelcase premier partner, Perdue customized a landscape adaptive to TEA’s employee-focused culture using a broad collection of Steelcase office products.
“Perdue helped us design spaces for individuals and groups by giving us options for different types of conference tables and moveable furniture,” said Christie Hall, TEA Communications Manager. “We have things that are really easy to reorganize, create the space that you need, plus lots of ergonomic spaces that make those individual areas nice and easy to use.”
The new office spaces were designed per location, applying notable regional aesthetics while maintaining interchangeable style, color, and themes throughout the offices. Paired with TEA’s existing furnishings, Steelcase Answer Panels, Elective Elements desk systems, and AMQ ACTIV-Pro 2-Stage desks were a few select products used to offer flexibility and privacy, and support a wide range of work modes. For optimum ergonomic comfort, performance, and elevated style, Coalesse Marien152 guest and conference chairs were selected.
