Bi-Coastal Office Furniture Interior Design for an Energy Management Firm
The Energy Authority (TEA), an energy trading and asset management firm supporting public power utilities, envisioned a collaborative workplace interior design focused on employee care and innovation. With the goal of renovating its Bellevue, WA office and relocating its Jacksonville, FL. office to a new construction, TEA sought a workplace furniture solution that would best utilize its existing assets and acquire a new modern office interior design that caters to employee wellness, creative thinking, and business evolution.
Following strategic project planning with TEA’s general contractor, Adams Interior Construction, Perdue crafted a tailored solution to coordinate seamless relocation of assets and integrate new furnishings, leveraging internal resources from Suddath Commercial Moving and technology support from Phase Integration. This partnership enabled us to oversee multiple project elements, ensuring that delivery and installation were synchronized with one another for timely completion.
Aligned with Connie Turner Interiors Inc.’s creative direction, Perdue procured a selection of workplace furniture and accessories complementary to TEA’s conceptual design. The concept featured a creative space with amenity centers, quiet rooms, and multipurpose nooks for short breaks or collaboration. As North Florida’s leading workplace furniture dealer and Steelcase premier partner, Perdue customized a landscape adaptive to TEA’s employee-focused culture using a broad collection of Steelcase office products.
“Perdue helped us design spaces for individuals and groups by giving us options for different types of conference tables and moveable furniture,” said Christie Hall, TEA Communications Manager. “We have things that are really easy to reorganize, create the space that you need, plus lots of ergonomic spaces that make those individual areas nice and easy to use.”
The new office spaces were designed per location, applying notable regional aesthetics while maintaining interchangeable style, color, and themes throughout both offices. Paired with TEA’s existing furnishings, Steelcase Answer Panels, Elective Elements desk systems, and AMQ ACTIV-Pro 3-Stage desks were a few select products used to provide flexibility, privacy, and support a wide range of work modes. For optimum ergonomic comfort, performance, and elevated style, Marien152 Lounge guest and conference chairs providing employees cleverly designed support for a lasting workday.
