Availity, an industry-leading healthcare information technology company based in Jacksonville, Florida, relocated their headquarters in 2018. The move gave the organization an opportunity to redesign their workspace to enhance collaboration and productivity to meet their employees’ needs.
With 100 years of experience designing offices that improve the way employees work and inspire, attract and retain top talent, Perdue® created an enhanced environment optimized for Availity’s employees. By understanding how Availity employees best use each space, we designed a mix of open, collaborative zones and independent workstations to enable employees to work and learn in an environment conducive to their style. Our end-to-end spectrum of services enabled Availity to bundle all their needs, from office design and project management to decommissioning and furniture installation, to get a complete solution all in one place, saving time and money.
As the premier Steelcase dealer in North Florida, we used a mix of Steelcase, Pottery Barn, West Elm, David Edward, Bernhardt and other top brands to create an upgraded modern look and feel. All furnishings came together to create an efficient and inspiring workspace that embodied Availity’s vision of collaboration, flexibility and innovation. To enhance this pioneering company’s collaborative culture, the number of meeting spaces increased to include more open and modular styles of workstations, each with a height-adjustable desk, designed to meet employees’ needs.
With 30 conference rooms throughout the new office, we worked with the organization to name and optimize the environment of several meeting rooms to have the best space for the task at hand. Employees can use the Focus, Brainstorm, Engage, or Break-Out rooms to better meet their specific needs. The final result was a beautiful, colorful and cool office, that reflects the way one of the nation’s largest healthcare information company works in the world today.
